The ASACS program requires highly qualified staff with expertise in prevention education, community referral agreements, and program marketing. ASACS counselors work in a variety of settings with the adolescents and their families, school staff, community leaders, and the military command. Typically the ASACS counselor will maintain an office in the DoDDs school (Department of Defense Dependent School) or on the base and live off the base on the "economy". Positions are available in:
