Program Overview
SAIC in partnership with the U.S. Army's Center for Substance
Abuse Programs (ACSAP) developed and manages the ASACS program.
ASACS enables command and active duty personnel to concentrate
on their mission, to increase military readiness, strengthen family
life, and reduce early returns and costly international and community
incidents.
Through SAIC’s management, the ASACS program is dedicated
to meeting critical needs of the military community by:
- Improving the quality of families through individual, group, and family counseling
- Interfacing and networking with the command and community to identify adolescents in need of services
- Designing and implementing prevention education programs to address specific school and community needs
- Applying a risk management system designed to identify, monitor, and resolve any problems related to client care.
All of these measures contribute to a value-added program for the U.S. Military and its families. SAIC has received a performance evaluation rating of 10 out of 10 from U.S. Army Evaluations for the past 10 years.
